What I’m Thankful For

This time of year most people stop and reflect on the things that make them happy–the things they have cause to be thankful for. And we acknowledge that we should be doing this year round, right?

I’m thankful for my family and friends–people who know me and love me anyway.

I’m thankful for my job–not only is it something that takes the financial worry away so I can expend most of my energy on writing, I work with people who are genuinely good and caring, and it makes going into work every day a treat.

I’m thankful for my local RWA chapter–the folks there support and encourage me in a crazy, wonderful way.

I’m thankful for my readers–people who pick up my books and enjoy what I’ve poured my sweat, tears and yes, sometimes cursing, into.

Happy Thanksgiving!

  1. I’m so glad you’re liking your job! I miss my Tucson friends and the RWA crowd. :(

I’m thankful for my beautiful daughter and supportive family here in Oz. Still, I really wish you weren’t all so far away.

  2. I really miss having you near, too! I’m glad you’re near family, but dang! You’re on the other side of the world.
